Company history

1899 Creation of the workshops Hermann CUENOD in Geneva, Switzerland.



1920 CUENOD invents the first automatic progressive burner.



1935 CUENOD invents the first pump without clamp.



1946 CUENOD sets up in France.



1970 CUENOD opens its plant in Annemasse on a surface of 45.000 sqm.



1983 CUENOD creates the new generation of burners with air re-injection.



1985 CUENOD invents the AGP System (Proportional Air Gas).



1995 CUENOD invents the RHP System (Recirculation with High Performance) and ustrializes the IME System (Multistage Injection).



1996 Cubic burner design extended to the medium capacities. CUENOD is integrated into Wolf-Preussag Group.



1998 New generation of domestic oil and gas burners.



1999 Hundredth anniversary celebrations.



2000 The MDE System (Operating data storage) and Cuenoscope arise.



2001 The company is integrated in the Italian Group MTS (today ARISTON THERMO).



2005 Extension of the industrial monobloc range up to 45 MW.



2008 Creation of the MDE2 System, evolution of the communication system MDE created during year 2000. Market launch of the range Pro View.



2010 CUENOD installs the MDE System and the Cuenogram on all medium capacity burners. Beginning of the renovation project of the cubic range.



2012 Completion of the renovation project of the cubic range.
